Healthy Habits Day 12 – EAT Protein, whole grains, fruits, vegetables and small amounts of healthy oils

This is a “no brainer” or so I hope?

Of course my Protein is listed first. For those that don’t know me I am a protein fanatic. My body loves it and I eat my body weight in grams every day. I stick to 80% vegan protein throughout the day because of the antibiotics given to animals and the amount of protein I eat. My post recovery protein is usually Whey. My preference of powder is Sunwarrior brand because I believe in the company and the ownership behind it.

There’s not much else to say about this topic as it’s pretty self-explanatory – I do reduce the amount of whole grains I eat because of the amount of carbs and ratio of energy with that compared to a root vegetable like a Yam.

As far as fruits I limit myself to only 1 per day unless it’s a berry. Berries are an unlimited amount I can eat any day due to the low sugars.
