Early Morning Peace

I love my early mornings between 4 am and 6 am. You can hear everything beginning to wake up and the day unfold. The birds speak, the plants open, the sky lights the earth. It’s the most beautiful time of the day. I am most productive during this time because everything is so quiet and peaceful and I’m able to think.

First thing I do in the morning before anything else is have a tall glass of lemon water (filtered with added minerals). I think my body needs this to get me going and neutralize my stomach for the day. I so look forward to my breakfast and deciding what to have. It’s probably the most calories I eat at any one given time throughout the day. For some, morning breakfast just doesn’t work but for me it’s my biggest meal. I usually have a vegan protein shake, oatmeal, and some almond butter bread. A real treat would be a chia pudding I made the night before.

Mornings are a great time to sort out what big things I will do for the day. I’m not a fan of detail plans as I don’t believe details make room for other opportunities that unexpectedly present themselves. Wishing everyone much peace and happiness as we begin this day!
